Often requires new browsers and servers with crypto smarts

Large variety of cryptographic algorithms, hardware, software

Network infrastructure requirements

Web security is one part of the larger puzzle: network/system security

Export/import restrictions on cryptographic technology

But everybody's doing it!

Most systems geared towards digital payment
